Marudamalai Temple visit with photos

Today I visited Arulmigu Subramaniyaswami Thirukovil, Marudhamalai.
Directions -- Coimbatore city bus terminal to Marudhamalai -- Bus no. 70 and 92
It is ten kilometers from City bus station. Maybe 11 kms from Railway Station
I took some photos to publish in the blogs.

Thiruchendur is approx. 440 kms from Salem via Tirunelveli (380 + 60 from Tirunelveli)
This route is 4-lane all the way till Tirunelveli
The other route is to travel via Thoothukudi (380 + 35 from Thoothukudi).
This route is 4-lane till Madurai.

Hotel Ashok Bhavan food was good. It is located near the entrance to the temple where the parking toll is collected.
Stay at Hotel Chitra Park was comfortable. It is located near the last T end, before turning left to the temple, coming from the bus stand to the temple.

Shanthi Sweets -- opp. to the bus-stand is a good shop to buy the famous Tirunelveli halwa and cashew macaroons. Two sweets you should taste. There is also a Shanthi bakery nearby but I bought in Shanthi Sweets, Thiruchendur.
